May 9 (Fri.) - 7:30 pm - Film & Forum - Safford Rm. - Sponsored by the Social Action Committee. Please join us in viewing the film, "Dreams Die Hard". Through interviews with slavery survivors, the film shows how people become enslaved, the types of work they do, why it is hard or impossible for them to escape, and what can be done to rescue them.
Following the 35-minute film, Linda Taber, a present-day anti-slavery worker, will present additional information and lead a discussion about actions to end this practice.
Light dessert refreshments will be served.

Program - Fourth of a four part study group and discussion of the book "Silent Lives: How High A Price?" by Sara L. Boesser. The author looks at how society as a whole suffers when an individual is pressured to hide his/her sexual identity.
