Publicity and Promotion Guidelines
Members are responsible for researching the most cost effective manner to promote the programs, purposes and principles of the First Unitarian Church of Sioux City to the greater Siouxland Area.
Newsletter Guidelines
The newsletter, The Voice, is published, printed, and mailed monthly during the regular church year of Sept. through May; twice during the summer months of June, July, and August in June and again in late August. It is mailed so that information will be received by members and friends prior to the first Sunday of each month.
Information and articles to go into each month's Voice need to be mailed, brought in, called in, or e-mailed to the church secretary at least seven days prior to the end of each month so the secretary can get the newsletter drafted, proof-read, printed and copies made in a timely manner.
Web Site Guidelines
Members of this committee work to create or refurbish the web site's appearance and technology as needed and requested, to update the information it contains in a timely manner, and strive to see that it authentically presents our beloved community to the world in a thoughtful, attractive, and informative manner.
Since all web sites are continual "works in progress", conscientious scrutiny, input and suggestions from members and friends is constantly requested and appreciated.
UUA Affair Guidelines
To strive to keep the lines of communication flowing between our local congregation and the district office (Prairie Star) as well as the national organization (UUA). To relay information regarding plans, programs, and trends of which our congregation might benefit and to suggest areas where greater cooperation and coordination with those offices would be to our mutual advantage.
